Growing Aloe Vera plants
There is 95% of water in aloe plants and that’s one and main reasons why it can’t take frost, to grow Aloe outdoors the temperature must be maintained at a steady 21°C , and a minimum recommended is 5°C.
If your aloe plants are grown outdoors in warm climates, make sure they are planted in full sun, or very light shade, also the soil must be very rich and fast draining, because over watering can cause the plant to rot off.

If you are growing your Aloe plant indoors , first of all make sure aloe pot is large enough cause aloes do like to expand a lot, also a fertilizer for the soil is needed. When the plant is big enough make sure you give a nice dusting to the leaves once in a while and don’t forgoet to keep it near the window where it can get a lot of sun.
Aloe vera is very juicy, and stores a large quantity of water within its leaves and root system. During the winter months, aloe plant will become quite dormant, and will utilize very little moisture, that’s why make sure watering is kept at minimal levels. When summer comes you should soak it completely and then leave to dry, before your next watering.
